Start ready, not cold

Use a gradual warm-up to increase movement before demanding rallies. Begin with easy activity, add dynamic mobility and finish with controlled court movements and gentle hitting. Warm-ups support preparation but cannot guarantee that injuries will not occur.

Manage weekly load

Changes in match frequency, intensity, competition and other exercise all contribute to total demand. Build one aspect at a time where possible and allow recovery. Fatigue, poor sleep and persistent soreness are reasons to reassess, not signals to push harder.

Strength, mobility and equipment

Work on general strength and movement capacity alongside padel. Choose appropriate footwear and a racket you can control comfortably. A coach can advise on technique and grip; a clinician can address symptoms that limit movement.

Respond to pain early

Do not ignore recurring or increasing pain. Modify aggravating activity and seek assessment if symptoms persist or affect daily function. An online prevention guide is not an individual rehabilitation prescription.
